Cheesy Sausage and Potato Bake
Ingredients:
1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
4 cups diced potatoes
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large skillet, cook sliced sausage over medium heat until browned. Remove and set aside. In the same skillet, sauté potatoes, bell pepper, onion, and garlic for 5 minutes. Sprinkle with paprika, black pepper, salt, and Italian seasoning. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, then stir in half of the shredded cheese. Top with the cooked sausage and remaining cheese. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and broil for 5 minutes until the top is golden brown. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm. Enjoy!
