Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1 egg
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and black pepper, to taste
For the Gravy:
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 small onion, thinly sliced
2 cups beef broth
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
Toppings:
4 slices of cheddar cheese
Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions:
Prepare the Salisbury Steaks:
In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Shape the mixture into 4 oval patties.
Cook the Steaks:
Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the patties for 3-4 minutes per side until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Make the Gravy:
In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté sliced onions until softened.
