Cheesy Ritz Cracker Chicken Bake
Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup sour cream (or plain Greek yogurt)
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 1/2 cups crushed Ritz crackers (about 1 sleeve)
3 tbsp melted butter
Directions
Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Prepare the chicken: Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Coat each chicken breast evenly with sour cream.
Add cheese: Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese generously over each chicken breast.
Make the topping: In a bowl, mix the crushed Ritz crackers with melted butter until evenly coated. Press the cracker mixture onto the cheese layer.
Bake: Place the chicken in the prepared baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F) and the topping is golden brown.
Serve: Let rest for 5 minutes, then serve with your favorite sides like mashed potatoes, rice, or veggies!
