Cheesy Ground Beef Penne
A comforting skillet dish with cheesy, savory pasta and perfectly seasoned ground beef – a meal everyone will love!
Ingredients:
300g penne pasta
300g ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup (120ml) beef broth
Salt and pepper (to taste)
1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
Cook the pasta: Boil the penne in salted water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
Cook the ground beef: In a skillet, sauté the ground beef over medium heat until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Add chopped onions and garlic and cook until softened.
Make the sauce: Add the beef broth to the skillet and simmer for 5 minutes, seasoning with salt and pepper.
Combine: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the beef mixture and toss to coat.
Melt the cheese: Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top of the pasta and let it melt for a few minutes.
Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and a sprinkle of black pepper.
