Cheesy Chicken Puff Pastry Pockets
Ingredients:
1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
1 1/2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese (for topping)
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a bowl, mix shredded chicken, mozzarella, cheddar, cream cheese, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning.
3. Roll out the puff pastry and cut into four equal squares.
4. Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture in the center of each square. Fold the pastry over the filling, sealing the edges by pressing with a fork.
5. Brush the tops with beaten egg and sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese.
6. Bake for 18-22 minutes or until golden brown and flaky.
7. Serve warm and enjoy!
