Cheesy Beef Pretzel Sandwich
This indulgent sandwich is a blend of tender beef, melted cheese, and fresh veggies all nestled between a soft pretzel bun. Perfect for anyone craving a hearty, cheesy meal!
Ingredients:
1 lb thinly sliced beef (such as ribeye or sirloin)
2 pretzel buns
2 slices mozzarella cheese
2 slices cheddar cheese
1 bell pepper (yellow, red, or both)
1/2 cup pickles
1 medium onion (optional)
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp butter
Instructions:
Prepare the Veggies: Slice the bell pepper and onion (if using) into thin strips. Set aside the pickles.
Cook the Beef: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the beef with salt and pepper. Add the beef to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until it’s browned and cooked through. Remove from the heat and set aside.
Toast the Pretzel Buns: In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Place the pretzel buns cut-side down and toast them for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
Assemble the Sandwich: Place a slice of mozzarella and cheddar on each bun’s bottom half. Layer the cooked beef on top, followed by the bell peppers, onions, and pickles. Add the top bun.
Melt the Cheese: Return the assembled sandwich to the skillet and cover it with a lid. Heat for 2-3 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the sandwich is warm.
Serve and Enjoy: Slice the sandwich in half for easier eating. Serve with fries or your favorite side dish!
