Cheesy Beef Macaroni Casserole

Ingredients:

250g elbow macaroni

500g ground beef

1 medium onion (chopped)

2 cloves garlic (minced)

1 cup tomato sauce

1 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp salt

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1/4 cup chopped parsley (for garnish)

1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions:

1. Cook the pasta:

Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the macaroni according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2. Cook the beef mixture:

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until softened.

Add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula, and cook until browned. Stir in tomato sauce, paprika, black pepper, and salt. Let it simmer for 5 minutes.

3. Assemble the casserole:

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta and beef mixture. Transfer to a greased casserole dish.

Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.

4. Bake:

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

5. Garnish and serve:

Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
