Cheesy Baked Spaghetti
Ingredients:
1 lb spaghetti
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion (chopped)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1 jar marinara sauce (about 24 oz)
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Cook the Spaghetti:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Meat Sauce:
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it up with a spoon until browned, about 5-6 minutes.
Add the chopped onion and garlic, cooking for 2-3 minutes until softened.
Stir in the marinara sauce, oregano, basil, crushed red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper. Let the sauce simmer for about 10 minutes to combine the flavors.
Assemble the Baked Spaghetti:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large baking dish or individual ramekins, mix the cooked spaghetti with the meat sauce.
Top with shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese.

Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
