For the Meat Sauce:
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp Italian seasoning

1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
1/2 cup beef broth or water

1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook rigatoni until al dente. Drain and toss with olive oil to prevent sticking.

In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.

Pour in marinara sauce and beef broth, simmering for 10 minutes.
Step 3: Assemble the Dish
In a baking dish, spread a thin layer of the meat sauce.
Add half of the pasta, then layer with ricotta and Parmesan cheese.
Add the rest of the pasta, cover with more sauce, and top with shredded mozzarella.
Step 4: Bake to Perfection
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Bake uncovered for 20 minutes until cheese is golden and bubbly.
Step 5: Garnish & Serve
