Caramel Apple Cheesecake

Ingredients:

For the Crust:

2 cups crushed graham crackers

1/2 cup melted butter

For the Cheesecake Layer:

2 cups cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup whipped cream

For the Caramel Apple Topping:

2 cups diced apples

1/4 cup brown sugar

2 tbsp butter

1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions:

1. Mix crushed graham crackers and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a springform pan and refrigerate to set.

2. Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Fold in whipped cream and spread over the crust. Chill for 4 hours.

3. In a skillet, sauté apples with brown sugar and butter until tender. Let cool slightly.

4. Spread caramel sauce over the cheesecake, then top with the sautéed apples. Drizzle extra caramel on top.
