BBQ Smash Burger
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef (80/20)
4 brioche buns, toasted
1 cup BBQ sauce
1 medium onion, sliced
1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Heat butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté onions and bell peppers until caramelized. Set aside.
2. Form ground beef into 4 equal balls. Heat a griddle or skillet to high heat and smash each ball into a thin patty. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side.
3. Brush the patties with BBQ sauce while cooking.
4. Assemble burgers by layering the patty, sautéed onions, and peppers on the toasted buns. Serve warm.
