Bacon Cheddar Cheese Ball
A creamy, savory cheese ball loaded with crispy bacon, sharp cheddar, and fresh herbs.
Ingredients
16 oz cream cheese, softened
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
8 slices bacon, cooked crispy and crumbled
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions
1. Mix the Filling:
In a large bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and half of the crumbled bacon. Mix until smooth and well combined.
2. Shape the Cheese Ball:
Form the mixture into a ball using your hands or plastic wrap. Place in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes to firm up.
3. Roll and Coat:
In a shallow dish, mix the remaining bacon, chopped green onions, and pecans. Roll the chilled cheese ball in the mixture until evenly coated.
4. Chill and Serve:
Place the cheese ball on a serving plate and refrigerate for at least 30 more minutes. Serve with crackers, breadsticks, or fresh veggies.
