Easy Blackberry Cream Cheese Dessert
Ingredients:
– 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
– 1/2 cup melted butter
– 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
– 16 oz cream cheese, softened
– 1 cup powdered sugar
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 2 cups fresh blackberries
– 1/4 cup blackberry jam
– 1 cup heavy whipping cream
Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2. In a medium bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar until well combined. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
3. Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and let cool completely.
4. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, and beat until well combined.
5. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled crust.
6. In a small saucepan, heat the blackberry jam until it becomes slightly liquid. Gently fold the fresh blackberries into the jam, then spread the blackberry mixture over the cream cheese layer.
7. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Spread the whipped cream over the blackberry layer.
8. Refrigerate the dessert for at least 2 hours before serving.
