Irresistible Caramel Chocolate Crunch Bars

Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup caramel sauce
1 cup chocolate chunks
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1/2 cup chocolate chips
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a bowl, mix together the flour, brown sugar, and melted butter until well combined.
Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased baking dish to form the crust.
Bake the crust for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden.
Remove the crust from the oven and immediately pour the caramel sauce over the hot crust.
Sprinkle the chocolate chunks and chopped nuts (if using) evenly over the caramel layer.
Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the caramel is bubbly and the chocolate is melted.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle the chocolate chips over the top. Let them melt slightly and spread with a spatula if desired.
Allow the bars to cool completely before cutting into squares.
