Banana Chocolate Brownies

Ingredients:

1/2 cup (115 g) unsalted butter, melted

1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 cup (60 g) all-purpose flour

1/2 cup (50 g) cocoa powder

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 tsp baking powder

1 ripe banana, mashed

1 banana, sliced for topping

Instructions:

1. Preheat Oven:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch (20×20 cm) baking pan with parchment paper.

2. Mix Wet Ingredients:

In a bowl, whisk together melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.

3. Combine Dry Ingredients:

In another bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.

4. Mix Batter:

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Stir until combined. Fold in the mashed banana.

5. Bake:

Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Top with banana slices and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

6. Cool and Serve:

Let the brownies cool completely before slicing.
