Surf and Turf Tacos
Ingredients:
8 small tortillas
200g shrimp, peeled and deveined
200g beef steak, sliced
1 cup shredded cheese
1/2 cup cooked corn kernels
2 tbsp olive oil
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp cumin
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh cilantro, chopped
Lime wedges for serving
Instructions:
1. Marinate the Shrimp and Beef:
Toss shrimp and steak slices with olive oil, garlic, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Let sit for 10 minutes.
2. Cook the Steak:
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook steak slices for 2-3 minutes per side until desired doneness. Remove and set aside.
3. Cook the Shrimp:
In the same skillet, cook shrimp for 2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
4. Assemble Tacos:
Warm tortillas in a dry pan. Fill each tortilla with steak, shrimp, cheese, and corn.
5. Serve:
Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with lime wedges. Enjoy your surf and turf tacos!
