Bacon Cheeseburger Mac and Cheese
Ingredients:
250g elbow macaroni
200g ground beef
4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cups milk
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the Pasta:
Boil macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside
.
2. Cook the Ground Beef:
In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Season with salt and pepper, then set aside
.
3. Make the Cheese Sauce:
In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute to form a roux
.
Gradually whisk in milk, cooking until the mixture thickens.
Stir in cheddar, mozzarella, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy
.
4. Combine:
Add the cooked macaroni and ground beef to the cheese sauce and stir to combine
.
5. Top with Bacon:
Sprinkle crumbled bacon on top and mix gently
.
6. Serve:
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm
