One-Pot Beef and Macaroni
A Quick and Flavorful One-Pot Beef and Macaroni for Busy Weeknights
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups beef broth
1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
1 cup elbow macaroni, uncooked
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Directions:
1. Heat a large skillet or pot over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain any excess fat.
2. Add the chopped onion and garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 3-4 minutes, until softened.
3. Stir in the paprika, oregano, black pepper, and salt. Mix well to coat the beef and onion mixture.
4. Pour in the beef broth and tomato sauce. Stir to combine. Bring to a boil.
5. Add the uncooked elbow macaroni to the skillet. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the macaroni is tender.
6. Remove from heat and let the dish rest for a few minutes. Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
