Simple Margherita Flatbread
Ingredients:
2 flatbread bases
1 cup marinara sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Fresh basil leaves
Olive oil for drizzling
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Flatbread:
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the flatbreads on it.
2. Spread Sauce:
Evenly spread the marinara sauce over each flatbread.
3. Add Cheese:
Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese generously over the sauce.
4. Top with Basil:
Arrange fresh basil leaves on top of the cheese.
5. Bake:
Drizzle a little olive oil over the flatbreads and bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
6. Serve:
Slice into strips or squares and serve immediately.
