Chocolate Croissant Bread Pudding

Ingredients:

6 large croissants, cut in half

2 cups whole milk

1 cup heavy cream

4 large eggs

½ cup sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup dark chocolate chips

½ cup melted dark chocolate (for drizzling)

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Dish:
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
Arrange the croissant halves in a greased baking dish, slightly overlapping.

2. Make the Custard:
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, cream, eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.

3. Assemble the Pudding:
Pour the custard mixture evenly over the croissants, ensuring they are well soaked. Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the top. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes to absorb.

4. Bake the Pudding:
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the custard is set.

5. Finish with Chocolate:
Drizzle the melted dark chocolate over the baked pudding while warm. Serve immediately.
