Cheesy Chicken Parmesan Skillet
Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs, beaten
1 cup breadcrumbs (seasoned or plain)
2 cups marinara sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon dried basil (optional)
1 teaspoon dried oregano (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Preheat and Prepare Chicken:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
2. Bread the Chicken:
Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip into beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
3. Sear the Chicken:
