Garlic Butter Broccoli and Mushrooms

Ingredients:

300g broccoli florets

200g mushrooms, sliced

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/4 cup vegetable or chicken broth

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tablespoon soy sauce (optional)

Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Broccoli:

Steam or blanch the broccoli florets for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender. Drain and set aside
.

2. Sauté the Mushrooms:

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat
.

Add sliced mushrooms and cook for 4-5 minutes until golden brown
.

3. Add Garlic and Broccoli:

Push the mushrooms to one side of the skillet.

Add butter and minced garlic, letting it melt and become fragrant
.

Toss in the broccoli and stir everything together.

4. Add Broth and Season:

Pour in vegetable or chicken broth and soy sauce (if using).

Season with salt and pepper and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce reduces slightly
.

5. Serve:

Garnish with fresh parsley and serve as a side dish or a light main course
