Creamy Chicken Noodle Skillet

Ingredients:

12 oz egg noodles

2 cups cooked shredded chicken

1 cup carrots, sliced

1 cup green peas

2 tbsp butter

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

2 cups chicken broth

1 cup milk

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp dried thyme

1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions:
Cook egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and carrots, cooking until softened. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually add chicken broth, milk, and heavy cream, whisking until smooth. Season with salt, black pepper, and thyme. Add shredded chicken and peas, stirring to combine. Simmer for 5 minutes until thickened. Mix in the cooked noodles and toss to coat. Garnish with parsley and serve warm. Enjoy!
