Lemon Drizzle Layer Cake

You Will Need:

2 cups plain flour
1 1/2 cups caster sugar
1 cup butter
4 eggs
1/3 cup buttermilk
1/3 cup lemon juice
2 tsp lemon zest
1/2 cup lemon glaze

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two pans.
Beat butter and sugar until creamy. Add eggs, then buttermilk, lemon juice, and zest.
Mix in flour until smooth. Divide batter into pans.
Bake for 25–30 minutes and cool. Drizzle lemon glaze on top and between layers.
Garnish with fresh lemon slices.
