Trisha Yearwood’s Butterscotch Bars
Ingredients:
1 cup browned butter
2 cups dark brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups whole wheat flour
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 cup butterscotch chunks
Instructions:
Set oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9 pan.
Combine browned butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla.
Stir in flour and nutmeg. Fold in butterscotch chunks.
Spread batter into the pan and bake for 30 minutes. Cool before serving.
