Creamy Steak Alfredo Pasta Recipe
Ingredients
For the Steak:
2 ribeye or sirloin steaks (about 8 oz each)
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
2 tbsp unsalted butter
For the Alfredo Sauce:
3 tbsp unsalted butter
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 ½ cups heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper, to taste
Chopped parsley, for garnish
For the Pasta:
12 oz fettuccine or linguine pasta
Instructions
1. Prepare the Steak:
Season both sides of the steak with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
Heat butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear the steaks for 3-4 minutes per side (for medium-rare), or adjust to your preferred doneness.
Remove the steaks, let them rest for 5 minutes, then slice into strips.
2. Cook the Pasta:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
3. Make the Alfredo Sauce:
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
Pour in heavy cream and let it simmer for 3-4 minutes.
Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
4. Combine:
Toss the cooked pasta into the Alfredo sauce until evenly coated.
5. Assemble:
Plate the pasta and top with the sliced steak. Drizzle extra sauce over the steak and garnish with parsley.
