Cowboy Beans

Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1/2 lb bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 small onion, diced
2 cans (15 oz) baked beans
1 can (15 oz) pinto beans, drained and rinsed
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp chili powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Cook the Bacon

In a skillet, cook the bacon until crispy.
Remove and drain on paper towels. Crumble and set aside.
Brown the Beef

In the same skillet, cook the ground beef and onion over medium heat until browned.
Drain excess fat.
Combine Ingredients

In a large bowl, mix the baked beans, pinto beans, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and chili powder.
Add the cooked beef and half of the crumbled bacon.
Bake

Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
Top with the remaining bacon.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes to 1 hour, until bubbly.
Serve

Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy as a side dish or main course!
