Frito Taco Salad
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning mix
1 head lettuce, chopped
1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup Fritos corn chips
1/2 cup sour cream (optional)
1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)
Directions
Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat and stir in taco seasoning according to the package instructions. Set aside to cool slightly.
Prepare the salad base by spreading the chopped lettuce in a large serving bowl.
Layer the cooled taco-seasoned beef, halved cherry tomatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, and Fritos on top of the lettuce.
Top with a dollop of sour cream and sprinkle with chopped cilantro for garnish (optional).
Toss gently before serving to combine all the flavors.
