Beer Bread

Ingredients

3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/4 cup granulated sugar
12 oz beer (any type, at room temperature)
4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
Directions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar until combined.
Pour the beer into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix; the batter will be thick and slightly lumpy.
Transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan and spread it evenly.
Drizzle the melted butter over the top of the batter.
Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool the bread in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and serve with butter or your favorite spread.
