Ingredients:
For the Fries:
4 large russet potatoes
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Ground Beef:
1 lb ground beef
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Cheese Sauce:
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup milk
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp flour
Salt and pepper to taste
For Garnish:
Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions:
Prepare the Fries:
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Cut the potatoes into fries and toss them with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread them in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
Cook the Ground Beef:
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Drain any excess fat. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes to combine the flavors.
Make the Cheese Sauce:
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add flour and whisk to make a roux. Gradually pour in milk, whisking constantly. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese and cook until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
Assemble the Loaded Fries:
Place the baked fries on a plate. Top with the cooked ground beef, cheese sauce, and a sprinkle of fresh parsley.
