Beef Pita Wraps with Fresh Salad

Ingredients

For the Beef Filling:

1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, finely diced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
For the Salad Topping:

1 cup diced tomatoes
1 cup diced cucumber
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
For Serving:

4 pita breads or flatbreads
Optional: hummus, tzatziki, or hot sauce
Directions

Cook the beef filling:
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion and cook for 2-3 minutes until softened. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Stir in ground beef, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for 7-10 minutes, breaking the meat into small crumbles, until browned and fully cooked.

Prepare the salad topping:
In a bowl, combine diced tomatoes, cucumber, parsley, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Toss to mix well.

Assemble the wraps:
Warm the pita bread and spread with optional hummus or tzatziki. Add a generous scoop of the beef mixture and top with the fresh salad.

Serve:
Fold the pita wraps and enjoy! Serve with extra toppings or sauces on the side if desired.
