Swedish Meatball Pasta with Creamy Sauce
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
8 oz penne pasta
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare the meatballs. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and pepper. Mix well to ensure everything is well combined.
Form the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for about 20-25 minutes until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil. Once the oil is hot, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a simmer. Reduce the heat and let it thicken slightly, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Toss the cooked pasta with the creamy sauce until well coated. Add the sliced meatballs and mix thoroughly.
Serve the Swedish Meatball Pasta with Creamy Sauce hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley for added color and flavor. This dish is perfect for a satisfying meal that combines the rich flavors of meatballs with the comforting richness of creamy pasta. Enjoy your delicious Swedish Meatball Pasta!
