Creamy Chicken Alfredo Lasagna

Ingredients:
For the chicken filling:

2 cups cooked shredded chicken

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

For the Alfredo sauce:

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

For the lasagna:

12 lasagna noodles

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions:
Cook the lasagna noodles:

Boil the lasagna noodles in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and lay flat on a clean surface to prevent sticking.
Prepare the Alfredo sauce:

In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Whisk in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
Mix the chicken filling:

In a bowl, combine shredded chicken, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Assemble the lasagna:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a baking dish, spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce on the bottom.
Add a layer of lasagna noodles, followed by shredded chicken, a drizzle of Alfredo sauce, and a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a generous layer of Alfredo sauce and mozzarella on top.
Bake the lasagna:

Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top. Bake uncovered for an additional 10 minutes, or until the top is bubbly and golden.
Garnish and serve:

Let the lasagna rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
