Creamy Steak Alfredo Pasta

Ingredients:
For the Steak:

8 oz ribeye or sirloin steak

1 tbsp olive oil

Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

For the Alfredo Sauce:

2 tbsp unsalted butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

Salt and black pepper to taste

For the Pasta:

8 oz fettuccine or tagliatelle pasta

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:
1. Prepare the Steak:

Rub the steak with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steak for 3-4 minutes per side (for medium rare) or until cooked to your preference.
Let the steak rest for 5 minutes, then slice thinly against the grain.
2. Cook the Pasta:

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions.
Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of the pasta water.
3. Make the Alfredo Sauce:

In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
Gradually whisk in Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of the reserved pasta water to achieve your desired consistency.
4. Combine and Serve:

Toss the cooked pasta in the Alfredo sauce until well coated.
Plate the pasta and top with sliced steak.
Garnish with chopped parsley and a sprinkle of black pepper.
