Cajun Shrimp Alfredo Pasta

Ingredients

For the Shrimp:

200g large shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

For the Alfredo Sauce:

2 tablespoons butter

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 teaspoon Cajun seasoning (optional for extra spice)

Salt and pepper to taste
For the Pasta:

200g fettuccine or your favorite pasta

Fresh thyme or parsley for garnish

Instructions

Cook the Pasta

Boil the pasta in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Shrimp

Toss the shrimp with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and slightly crispy. Remove and set aside.
Make the Alfredo Sauce

In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
Add a pinch of Cajun seasoning for a spicy kick and adjust salt and pepper to taste.
Assemble the Dish

Toss the cooked pasta in the Alfredo sauce until fully coated.
Plate the pasta and top with the Cajun shrimp.
Garnish and Serve
