Steak and Cheese Wrap with Grilled Veggies

Ingredients

For the Steak and Veggies:

1 lb flank steak or skirt steak

1 tbsp olive oil
1 green bell pepper (sliced)

1 onion (sliced)

Salt and black pepper to taste
1 tbsp fajita seasoning (optional)

For the Wrap:

4 large flour tortillas

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

2 tbsp butter

For the Dipping Sauce:

1/2 cup marinara sauce
(optional for dipping)
Instructions

Prepare the Steak:

Season the steak with salt, pepper, and fajita seasoning (if using).
Heat olive oil in a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the steak for 3-4 minutes per side, or until it reaches your desired doneness. Let the steak rest for 5 minutes, then thinly slice against the grain.
Sauté the Vegetables:

In the same skillet, add a bit more olive oil if needed and sauté the bell pepper and onion slices for 4-5 minutes until tender. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Assemble the Wraps:

Place a tortilla on a flat surface and layer with a generous amount of mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
Add sliced steak and sautéed peppers and onions on top of the cheese.
Roll the tortilla tightly, folding in the edges as you go to keep everything in place.
Grill the Wrap:

Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Place the wrapped tortillas seam-side down and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy, and the cheese has melted inside.
Serve:

Cut the wraps in half and serve with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
