Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning
1/2 cup water
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Cheese Sauce:
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup milk
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp flour
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp chili powder
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Nachos:
1 bag tortilla chips
Fresh cilantro, chopped
Instructions:
Cook the Beef:
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary. Stir in taco seasoning and water, then simmer for 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld. Season with salt and pepper.
Make the Cheese Sauce:
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in the flour to make a roux and cook for 1 minute. Gradually add milk, whisking until smooth. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese until fully melted. Add garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper to taste.
