Chicken Florentine Recipe
Ingredients

Chicken:

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
Florentine Sauce:

3 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
1/2 cup (50 g) grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
2 cups (60 g) fresh baby spinach
Garnish:

Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions

Prepare Chicken:

Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken breasts for 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Make the Florentine Sauce:

In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds, until fragrant.
Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and nutmeg. Let the sauce simmer for 3-4 minutes, until slightly thickened.
Add Spinach:

Add the baby spinach to the sauce and cook until wilted (1-2 minutes).
Combine and Serve:

Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon the sauce over the chicken, and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes to absorb flavors.
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.

Cook Time: 20 minutes
