Bobby Flay Salisbury Steak

Salisbury Steak, a classic comfort food, gets a flavorful twist with Bobby Flay’s recipe. Juicy beef patties seasoned with Dijon mustard and Worcestershire sauce are seared to perfection and then simmered in a rich mushroom gravy. This hearty dish is ideal for cozy dinners, paired perfectly with creamy mashed potatoes or buttery rice.

1.5 lbs ground beef
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup minced onion
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 large egg
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp Dijon mustard
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp unsalted butter
8 oz cremini mushrooms, sliced
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
2 cups beef broth
Chopped parsley (optional garnish)

Directions:
1. Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, egg, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Shape into 4 patties.
2. Sear patties in olive oil for 4-5 minutes per side; set aside.
3. Sauté mushrooms in butter until tender; add garlic.
4. Sprinkle flour, stir, and add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer until thickened.
5. Return patties to skillet, simmer for 5 minutes. Garnish with parsley and serve.
