8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
2 jalapeños, finely diced (seeds removed for less heat)
½ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp smoked paprika
¼ tsp salt
¼ cup green onions, chopped
1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, diced jalapeños, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and green onions until well combined.
Roll out the puff pastry and place the cheese mixture in the center. Fold the edges over the filling, sealing tightly.
Brush the top with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until the pastry is golden brown and crisp.
Let cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm with crackers or bread. Enjoy!
