Creamy Chicken Bacon Spinach Pasta
Ingredients
12 oz penne pasta
2 tbsp olive oil
2 chicken breasts, diced
4 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 cups fresh spinach
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Cook the Pasta:
Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Cook Chicken:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet. Season diced chicken with salt and pepper, then sauté until golden and fully cooked. Remove from skillet.
Sauté Garlic and Spinach:
In the same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant. Add spinach and cook until wilted.
Make the Sauce:
Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Add red pepper flakes if desired. Simmer until slightly thickened.
Combine Everything:
Return chicken to the skillet, then toss in cooked pasta and crumbled bacon. Mix well to coat.
Serve & Enjoy:
Garnish with extra Parmesan and serve hot!
