Description
Beef & Snow Pea Stir-Fry
Ingredients
1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
2 cups snow peas, trimmed
1 medium onion, sliced
2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp cornstarch
1/2 tsp ground ginger
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp vegetable oil
Cooked jasmine rice (for serving)
Directions
Marinate the beef:
In a bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, and ground ginger. Add the sliced steak, toss to coat, and let marinate for 10 minutes.
Cook the beef:
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
Sauté the veggies:
In the same skillet, add a bit more oil if needed. Stir-fry the onion and garlic for 1-2 minutes. Then, add the snow peas and cook for another 2 minutes until tender-crisp.
Combine and finish:
Return the beef to the skillet. Stir everything together and cook for 1-2 minutes until heated through and coated in the sauce.
Serve:
Serve hot over jasmine rice, garnished with chopped green onions. Enjoy!
